Overview: How might we reimagine transportation?

I designed a mobile solution for Orbus, an autonomous mini-bus transportation service that aims to connect and empower communities. I continued exploring the brand and its guidelines by documenting its design system, Transit.

Welcome Back

Orbus understands that users connect to humans, not robots. It delivers friendly and thoughtful experiences that celebrate the user and welcome them back.

Review Ride Details & Maps

After their rides, Orbus users can review details about their trip such as the route, time & date, price, receipt, and rewards. They can also complete additional actions such as re-ordering the ride, saving the ride by adding it to favorites, rating the ride, and discovering nearby locations along the route.

Earn Rewards & Level Up

Orbus aims to empower and inspire. It rewards users for loyalty and celebrates achievements. Each ride accumulates points, allowing users to level up and claim their rewards.

Discover Community Favorites & Exclusive Offers Nearby

Orbus is driven by community, and so is Transit. Transit makes connecting with the community a top priority. Users can discover nearby community favorites from other Orbus users who rate the destinations. They can also benefit from exclusive offers that give them discounts on rides to nearby locations. These features let Orbus users connect and engage with their community.

Search By Categories

In addition to community favorites and exclusive offers, Orbus users can search destinations by categories such as stores, food, parks and fun. They can then additionally filter the destinations to find exactly what they’re looking for.

Save Locations Along Route

After discovering a new destination nearby, Orbus users can save it by adding it to their favorites, or they can directly order a ride there. The more rides users take, the more savings and rewards they earn. This information can be found in the Membership page, along with an overview about Orbus and what it does.
